Anything For You

I would do anything for you
And you know that
I once thought I could do everything on my own
And now I am not so sure
We have a pretty big problem
One we can't ignore
We shouldn't make hasty decisions
Something we possibly would regret in the future.

Our opinions on this differ
We just can't seem to see eye to eye
You are afraid of what you may lose
I am afraid of what I might not see
You are quite vocal in what you want me to do
Closing up when I suggest something different
The only way you can see is your desires
It doesn't matter how I may feel about it.

I would normally do anything for you
But this is one thing I cannot do for you
For I have a choice in this, as well
This is not something you can dictate
For it affects me just as much as it affects you
Maybe it affects me even more
